Your safety comes first. This page explains how to report a problem, what happens next, and how to protect yourself while using SalonBuddy.
How to report
- A post, project, or comment: use the delete or report control on the content, or email us with a link.
- A member: email us with their username and what happened.
- Urgent safety concerns: email safety@salonbuddy.onlineand we'll prioritize it.
What we don't tolerate
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination.
- Impersonation or fake accounts.
- Scams, fraudulent job listings, or requests for payment to apply.
- Sharing someone's private information without consent.
What happens after you report
Our team reviews every report. Depending on what we find, we may remove content, issue a warning, or suspend the account involved. We'll act on urgent safety reports as quickly as we can.
Staying safe
- Keep conversations and payments on trusted, verifiable channels.
- Be cautious with anyone who pressures you to move off-platform or pay to apply.
- Only share personal details you're comfortable making known.
- Report anything that feels off — you won't be penalized for a good-faith report.
Emergencies
SalonBuddy can't respond to emergencies. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
